Actor Andrew Garfield was recently invited to browse through the shelves of the famous Criterion closet and he chose Hoop Dreams as one of his favorite films of all time!
Known for his deep emotional connection to characters and stories Garfield said of this pick “What this film does, so purely, is it gets in touch with our human longing to make something meaningful out of this life…it’s a film about our essential need, as human beings, to try to follow the image of a dream.”
