How well do you know some of your favorite tunes? Top 40? Classics? On September 12th, Kartemquin Board Member Beth Wellman flexed her musical ear when she won $1 million on the season finale of Fox’s game show Beat Shazam.
On the show, pairs of contestants face off to identify song titles based on short musical excerpts. In the final round, the game changes when the pairs compete against the musical recognition algorithm, Shazam.
