Floyd Webb is a multi-talented creative with decades of experience in global cinema, photojournalism, publishing and advertising. Born in Mississippi and raised on the south side of Chicago, Floyd’s career was inspired by early activism, a nonconformist outlook, and a deep regard for film. He lived overseas for many years, dedicating his career to black cinema in the U.S. and abroad and is best known for founding Chicago’s Blacklight International Film Festival. Beyond this expertise and experience, Floyd brings an interest in and commitment to inspiring the next generation of filmmakers.
