Paty Calderón is a finance professional with experience in private equity, investment banking, and nonprofit operations. She is currently an Associate at Water Street Healthcare Partners, where she supports deal execution and portfolio strategy for healthcare and life sciences companies. Previously, she worked as an investment banking analyst at J.P. Morgan’s Power & Renewables group.
In addition to her finance experience, Paty brings expertise in nonprofit leadership and digital advocacy, having managed operations and digital strategy for national campaigns with organizations such as Planned Parenthood, AFSCME, SEIU, and the Voter Participation Center. During her college years, Paty led air quality monitoring and educational outreach programs with the Environmental Law and Policy Center and Sustainable Claremont. She also held roles conducting statistical analysis and economic research at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and Lowe Institute of Political Economy.
Paty was born and raised in Chicago, and is passionate about giving back to local organizations. She is currently a Board Member of Phelps Forward, an organization supporting first-generation women pursuing careers in finance, and serves as a mentor for Questbridge and Chicago Scholars.
Paty earned her B.A. in Economics from Pomona College. In her free time, she enjoys making puzzles, exploring museums, and trying new baking recipes.
