Shirley Yang is an impact-oriented and entrepreneurial executive with 15 years of experience across branding, marketing, and strategy consulting. She is currently Head of Marketing for Deposits at Marcus by Goldman Sachs, where she oversees customer strategy, acquisition, retention, and communications.
Prior to Goldman Sachs, Shirley was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company where she advised Fortune 500 clients across financial services, retail, and technology on growth strategy and marketing & sales. She started her career as a marketing manager for Chicago’s 2016 Olympic Bid where she oversaw the production of 30 commercials and short films.
Shirley holds BAs in Economics and Political Science from the University of Chicago and a MBA from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University. She enjoys watching historical movies, listening to country music, and traveling with her husband and son.
