Sydney Bauer is a Chicagoland area native and a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, studying Psychology and Cinema Studies. She has previously worked in the non-profit space, aiming to make workplaces better for women. Her passions lie at the intersection of social impact and film. Her work in film has focused on impact production and supporting filmmakers in reaching their goals.
She was a Member of the Obama Foundation’s inaugural Community Leadership Corps in 2018 and has continued her education and work in community organizing.
